It’s time to select the BEST name – Agora or Forum.

Tribes (groups) and Agoras (forums) are both essential
components of the SOULTRIBE Platform, but they serve different purposes within
    a tribe / community.

Tribes are designed for broader community
interaction, while Agoras focus on specific discussions within those tribes.

    Agora

“The agora was a central public space in ancient Greek city-states. The literal meaning of the word “agora” is “gathering place” or “assembly”. The agora was the centre of the athletic, artistic, business, social, spiritual, and political life in the city. The Ancient Agora of Athens is the best-known example.” Wikipedia

Your input for this NAME choice – “Agora or Forum” (for SOULTRIBE), is super important at the beginning – before our launch of the software.

*Maybe you’ve got a better NAME? (suggestions are Welcome!)

    Thanks!

OK… I THINK that Agora is NOT the name to use here at SOULTRIBE. I now think that we should have something that ‘Trends’ with “SoulTribe.”

So… words for “FORUM” are – gathering, workshop, discussion, chat, etc.

Let’s find a COOL name (instead of ‘Forum’) – maybe a Pacific Islands or ATSI word for a gathering to talk about a subject.

      FYI…

These terms reflect the importance of dialogue and community in both Pacific Island and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

In many Pacific Island cultures, a gathering to discuss a subject may be referred to as a “talanoa,” which is a term used in several Pacific languages to describe an informal conversation or dialogue. Fono: Commonly used in Samoa and other islands, this term refers to a meeting or assembly for discussion.

For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, a similar gathering might be called a “yarn,” which refers to storytelling or sharing knowledge in a communal setting. Meeting: A general term for any gathering to discuss matters of importance.Cultural Gathering: A broader term that encompasses various types of meetings focused on cultural exchange and discussion.
